The exhibition was held from 31 January – 22 April 2018.

Where?

Terrace Rooms, South Wing, Somerset House, London, UK.

Who?

Our ESRs Simone A and Simone F contributed to the exhibition with the vortex phantom prototype. About 25000 visited the exhibition throughout the staging period.

What?

The exhibition theme was fluid flow mapping, drawing parallels between civil engineering and medical imaging.

Part of a collection of test objects, the ring vortex phantom continuously operated creating vortices made visible through the addition of ink to water. A countdown timer alerted visitors about the next vortex.

Our ESRs took part in the preparation and maintenance of the installation, including device customisation aiming to meet the specific requirements of the exhibition.
