Training activity one
The first VPH-CaSE training activity was held in Sheffield (hosted by USFD) on 17 and 18 November 2015.
This was the first network event in which the ESRs participated since their recruitment, so it was an opportunity to emphasise important network priorities (such as Personal Development Plan and ethics). It was also a chance to promote network cohesion.
In addition to the immediate outcomes from this training activity, this event addressed the important need to ensure all VPH-CaSE ESRs engage with the opportunities offered by the network-level training to be delivered by VPH-CaSE.
This has been secured by a commitment to monitor ESR skills development through the Personal career Development Plan (PDP).
